Q. How do I set up my
eMail account using POP 3 or IMAP4 so I can send and
receive eMail?
A. Please see the sections
How to set up POP3 eMail or
How to setup IMAP eMail.
Q. I’m trying to send a message using SMTP and it keeps
getting rejected, why?
A. Our mail system requires SMTP traffic to be
authenticated. Your eMail client may not be configured with
authentication support. Follow the instructions for setting
up your eMail Client to authenticate SMTP at
How to set up POP3 eMail or
How to setup IMAP eMail.
Q. Is it possible to recover a mailbox or eMail
message once I have deleted it?
A: If you have deleted an eMail by accident the first step
is to check your "Trash" folder. If the eMail is not in
this folder it means it has been deleted from the system.
Although the eMail system is subject to regular, scheduled
backups we cannot recover deleted eMails. We do not suggest
using the trash folder as a storage place for eMail
messages. If you think you may need an eMail message for
future reference please save it in a personal folder within
the eMail or WebMail interface.
Q: I keep getting a notification that I'm over quota, how
do I fix this?
A: This error occurs when you have more eMail in your
folders than is currently allowed by your quota setting.
When you receive this error please delete any unnecessary eMail messages
in your inbox and folders. If you wish to
increase your quota please contact a support representative.
Q. I notice that when I delete an eMail message, it
still remains in the trash folder. Is there an easy way to
delete messages from the trash folder automatically so that
they don't use up my storage quota?
A. Yes. Simply, log into your WebMail account, Select the Settings
option on the left-hand side
of the screen and set the message delete method to
Immediately.
